December 2005 - aspire in Norway
Motion are currently implementing their aspire operations software solution for PI Intervention in Norway. Working as a standalone software package, aspire was selected as a perfect fit to PI's business as it offered at least 90% off the shelf functionality with the balance being customised to fit their terminology and process.

November 2005 - aspire hits the Middle East
Motion have recently completed their first sale in the Middle East. Working with Welltonic llc, aspire, motion's operational software solution has been deployed in Dubai to handle the entire equipment and sales management process. As a multi currency/lingual system aspire was implemented in a 14 day period integrating with an existing Sage Line 50 accountancy solution.

November 2005 - Dick Fleming Communications...
Motion Software have recently developed and deployed a new application for Aberdeen based company Dick Fleming Communications. The software now supports all aspects of their business including:
- Point of sale transactions
- Stock management and inventory
- Purchase Orders and invoicing
- Sales commission
- After sales marketing and support
- Contract administration
- Financial and market reporting
- To ensure the accurate moving of and mobile phone/contract tracing we have also implemented a bar code scanning system.

In partnership with The Mix Motion has deployed an fully integrated e-commerce site for Sandy Menzies jewellers. Allowing full user friendly stock and sales management by the Sandy Menzies team, the site also processes secure credit card payments and has proven a hit in the lead up to Christmas!

Janaury 2005 - Redback go global with aspire
Redback Drilling Tools have rolled out the aspire operations software on a global basis allowing users all around the globe to login and manage their business and assets irrespective of location. Redback were one of the early adopters of the aspire software and have recently upgraded to V2.0 as part of the rollout.

December 2004 - Buchan Technical recruit aspire Logistics module
The latest module to be added to the aspire suite is the logistics/agency module. Built with technical recruiters in mind, aspire logistics deals with the handling of initial cv's through the entire process of selection and mobilisation through to integration with payroll and invoicing functions. Written in c#.net and utilising SQL Databases aspire logistics is a robust easy to integrate solution for technical recruiters and agencies.

September 2004 - Global Lifting Solution Delivered
Motion Software have developed and deployed software to enable clients of Global Lifting Services to access their Asset certification and documentation resources remotely. Project requirements called for a custom solution and we combined Microsoft .NET (C#) programming with Enterprise JavaTM technology to produce a secure web based application which interfaced with a legacy DataEase system.

Welltonic have become the latest company to purchase Aspire, Motion’s asset and operations software solution. Aspire will manage the entire process of their business from initial quotation, mobilisation, document production through to sales invoicing, planned and reactive maintenance.

In conjunction with Artech Visual Communications, Motion have delivered an interactive document delivery system, to give website users the ability to select and receive pdf product sheets. Aberdeen Electrical Services have purchased a licence of QuoteManager, a tool specifically created for creation of quotation and purchase order management. AES have also purchased a job costing and contract pricing module in order to manage their business and reduce the previous duplication that occured during both the pricing and purchasing functions.

January 2004 - Motion appoint Non-Executive Director
In order to facilitate future growth Stephen Burt is delighted to announce the appointment of Denis Taylor as Non-Exec Director. The appointment enables Motion to take advantage of Denis's experience in licencing and strategic development.
Denis Taylor was appointed Director, Trade and International Business Development for Scottish Enterprise in February this year. He joined SE in August 2002 from Solectron Europe, where he was Vice President of Global Services, based in Amsterdam. Prior to that Denis was Vice President of Solectron Scotland.
Denis has spent 8 years in the USA, where he held various senior management posts, including Vice President of World Wide Procurement for DELL and executive roles with MSL, AT&T and NCR. In his present role, Denis is responsible for leading Scottish Enterprise’s network efforts to help more Scottish companies grasp the opportunities of the world market and become substantial international players.

Chandlers International have purchased a copy of Motion's operational software aspire to manage their sales and rental business. The solution was chosen by CIA to fit their complex business because of the flexibility it offered and the fact it was implemented within a 10 week time frame. The system integrates with CIA's Sage Line 50 financial package.

September 2003 - Jimmy Chung's Expansion
Jimmy Chungs has asked Motion Software to develop the existing website to accommodate for their expansion into Dundee, Edinburgh and Inverness. The revised site now includes menus, maps, booking forms and prices for each location.

Nu-style Products has approached Motion Software to make a CD presentation for decorative laminate fabrication and their own roofing product 'System J'. The CD is based around the website recently completed by Motion Software and features a more in-depth animation of the 'System J' product which is shown on the website.

August 2003 - J & E Shepherd Choose Motion Software
Motion Software have won a contract from J & E Shepherd for the design and implementation of their website. J & E Shepherd will be utilising the Motion Software Content Management functionality to update their website internally - requiring no further input from Motion. The website features a fully dynamic property viewing area which will be available to all subscribed users. The project is due to start at the beginning of September.

Thomas Gunn have decided that the time is right to move along with technological advances and create an online ordering system for their clients. CPC have implemented a newly developed process based software solution to manage their sales orders. The system developed by Motion Software handles all aspects of proposal and quotation management, route sheets (for tracking and project management), creates all documents and centralises timesheet input and purchase order processing.

June 2003 - Golf Scorecards are a Winner
Winning Golf has commissioned Motion Software to develop an automated web based scorecard. Winning Golf required an easy way of updating 'scorecards' for their client golf outings. The software produces all 'behind the scenes' documentation and produces an eye catching leader board on line.

Specialist Oilfield Rental Services Companies Redback Drilling Tools is all set to go with its new Rental and Asset Management Solutions Software Package from Motion Software.
The company's decision to invest in the popular aspire product is the latest in a line of customers to select the newly completed package. Redback have launched aspire to agent networks all over the world. The system is intranet based with secure web access to allow authorised agents and distributors to log into the system irrespective of time or location. The system also automatically generates multi currency sales invoices and integrates with Sage Line 50.

April 2003 - S & D Fabricators Appoint Motion
Specialist welding and fabrication firm, S & D Fabrications have appointed Motion Software to develop a business system to manage their internal process. Reputable shipping agency, Euroline has approached Motion Software to redesign and update their existing website. Euroline's main goal was to make the website more interactive ensuring visitors keep returning to the site. February 2003 - PR Company Release Website
Aberdeen based agency, offering business to business and product PR, Beverley Tricker PR have given Motion Software Ltd the go ahead to design a new website. The website will concentrate mainly on case studies showing visitors the results which can be achieved through PR. Beverley Tricker PR, specialists in media relations, tourism and charity, wanted the website to reach out to journalists so they are able to request information on any of the company's clients or particular industries. The website is to go live mid April 2003.

Motion Software Limited have won yet another contract from Ross and Bonnyman. As part of their ongoing awareness and marketing strategy, Ross and Bonnyman have appointed Motion Software's web development skills to enhance their website. The new site will reflect the dynamic nature of Ross and Bonnyman business allowing users to retrieve information such as technical specifications. The goal Motion Software Limited has is to develop a user-friendly site, which provides a simple way of updating web content in house while ensuring the site is flexible for future developments. The website is on schedule to be completed within 6 weeks.

Another order has been won for Motion Software's popular aspire product, this time in conjunction with Motion's partnership with Escape Technology. iicorr have decided to invest in the Rental and Asset Management Solutions Software, which will be deployed via their existing Intranet platform. The system will track all asset movements and manage documentation including the integration of sales invoicing into Sage Line 50.

Motion Software was awarded a contract to commission a fully integrated business solution. The web based system incorporated a Sales Order processing including Sales Invoicing, Purchase Order processing, Stock Control/Reporting and a Document Management and Production module.

April 2002 -Intranet Manager
AC Yule has launched their new Intranet, which was delivered within 4 weeks after receiving their Purchase Order. The system was developed using Intranet Manager, Motion's modular off the shelf Intranet package. In addition a reporting module was added which integrated AC Yule multiple databases including SQL, Access and Dos based data. The solution used middleware to bring together the data and utilise their existing Crystal Reports to provide management with a 'one click' live reporting facility.
