Staff at Motion Software, the Scottish software development company, have celebrated achieving a long service milestone.
Five team members have notched up a combined 25 years with the firm with 5 more employees due to reach five years with the company before the end of the year.
They were each presented with a watch of their choice by Managing Director Stephen Burt to recognise their commitment to the business.
Stephen said: “It’s thanks to the loyalty and hard work of our team that we’ve been able to transform our business and seize opportunities that have led to us becoming one of the leading providers of inspection compliance software around the globe.
“The IT sector is a competitive one and we’re proud to have retained these individuals who have grown with the business and played a key part in making it what it is today. I’d like to say a huge thank you to them for their boundless enthusiasm, hard work and dedication.”
Motion’s employees marking five years with the company include: Keith Mathieson, implementation manager; Andrew Ayton, software manager; Fiona Phillip, business development manager; Varuni Jayasinghe, software tester and Dan Smith, senior developer.
It’s been an exciting year for Motion Software after it became the only company in the UK and Europe to launch a ‘create-your-own’ app for the inspection and compliance sector. The game-changing technology, Kinetic Enterprise, was launched to help move paper-based inspection companies to a fully digital solution – streamlining activity and improving data quality.
The innovative software business is set to showcase its new world leading technology for the inspection compliance sector at ADIPEC, the international petroleum conference and exhibition, in Abu Dhabi 7-10 November 2016 and LiftEx 2016, in Aberdeen 23-24 November 2016, which is organised by the Lifting Equipment Engineers Association (LEEA).
