• A system to manage the administrative processes of the business from course booking to final certificate generation.
• To manage the bookings of a large number of staff and resources and coordinate their use in the most efficient and cost effective manner.
• Provide visibility on many events scheduled a number of months in advance.
• Provide accurate reporting to accounts department with respect to sales invoicing.
• The ability for the public to book courses through the website and pay by credit card.
• A client portal allowing clients to book courses and manage their employee’s training requirements.

Solution:

• A web based application supported up by fully redundant hosting from Motion Software.

Technical Details:

• The application is web based and can be accessed using any computer connected to the internet.
• The solution was developed using ASP.NET MVC using Microsoft’s .NET Framework version 4. The application uses databases on Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2.
