Business Requirements:

• A system to manage assignment information with regards to assignment status, consultant involvement, invoices paid and commission payments.
• Accessible from 4 of MDI’s global locations.
• Role based access to administrators, consultants and management.
• Accurate reporting tool to provide monthly reports relating to consultant commission payments and performance.

Solution:

• A secure web based application accessible from MDI’s global locations.
• Calculates commission payments based on invoices entered into the system.
• Allows consultants and researchers to view their commission payments.
• Produces management reports which can be exported to various formats.

Technical Details:

• The solution was developed using ASP.NET MVC using Microsoft’s .NET Framework version 4. The application uses databases on Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2.
